What is The Adventure Club?
Are you free on Fridays? In The Adventure Club, we travel to our favorite nature spots to immerse ourselves in local wildlife. The rhythm of the seasons and the world around us define our studies. We learn together through songs, stories, adventure, observation, nature journals, experiments, projects, field trips and celebrations.
...and California Adventure Club?
Our theme for the 2025/2026 school year is California History! In this course of study, we will venture to local sites from the ice age, the first peoples, the age of exploration, the mission era, the adobes, the gold rush, the railroad, and contemporary times. Around California With Children’s Books by Beautiful Feet will serve as our curriculum guide for literature studies and journaling. Our first hand local experiences will color what we study in books and record in writing.
How do I sign up?
The Adventure Club meets on Fridays and serves students ages 8-13. Please send an inquiry form to apply. $150 per month plus field trip costs.
